UK security workforce operating system

Know exactly who is on site, when, and with proof

SecurityOps replaces WhatsApp check-ins and spreadsheets with geofenced sign-in, photo and GPS evidence, NFC patrol checkpoints and automatic SIA licence verification — so payroll queries and client disputes end with a PDF, not an argument.

  • Built for UK manned guarding & SIA-aligned teams
  • Audit-ready attendance—photo, GPS & optional NFC
  • Automatic SIA licence register checks
  • Incident reporting, visitor logbook & rich PDF exports
  • Real-time supervisor visibility across sites & shifts
  • Security integrity alerts for patrol discipline

The problems this solves

Manual shift coordination

Spreadsheets and group chats make it hard to see who is on your UK sites, on time, and SIA-compliant—adding admin overhead every week.

Weak attendance evidence

Without consistent proof of presence, payroll queries and client challenges drag on, costing time and trust.

Fragmented oversight

Patrols, site-locking rounds, incidents, visitor records, and compliance documents live in different places—weakening operational control.

How SecurityOps fixes them

One operational hub

Schedule shifts, manage sites and officers, and review attendance, incidents, and visitor logs from one mobile-first workforce platform—fewer handoffs, less admin chasing.

Proof-backed sign-in

Layered verification—photo, GPS at the site boundary, optional NFC taps, and clear timestamps—reduces disputes and supports audit readiness.

Structured field evidence

Patrol and checkpoint proofs, incident reports, visitor logbook entries, early-leave notes, and SIA licence records stay tied to the right people and shifts.

Compliance at shift speed

Automatic SIA licence checks against the official register, verification status tracking, and exportable PDF packs—so compliance keeps pace with live operations.

What you get

Incident reporting & PDF export

Guards submit structured incident reports during active shifts—types, witnesses, emergency services, watermarked photos, and declarations. Supervisors export reference-numbered PDFs tied to the shift timeline.

Visitor & vehicle logbook

Enable per site. Officers log visitors and vehicles during shifts, mark departures, search entries, and export daily visitor report PDFs—keeping reception and site access records inside the same operational system.

Security integrity alerts

When device clock drift is detected, SecurityOps records security events, shows supervisors possible time manipulation, and protects patrol windows—keeping interval discipline trustworthy.

Rich shift reports

Server-generated shift report PDFs combine attendance, patrol or lock proof photos, incident references, security events, and a full shift timeline—client-ready evidence without re-keying.

Photo sign-in & sign-out

Timestamped selfies, GPS within your sign-in window, and optional NFC at entrances—each signal tied to the shift for dependable, audit-ready proof of presence.

Patrol monitoring system

Scheduled patrol rounds and site-locking checkpoints with interval-based proof capture. Slot-level status—on time, late, missed, or due now—keeps discipline visible to supervisors.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Provision your organisation

Create the company workspace, add sites with geo boundaries and optional NFC tags, and onboard admins and officers.

  2. Step 2

    Plan and assign shifts

Schedule security, site-locking, or regular shifts with patrol rules, lock checkpoints, multi-guard assignment, and break settings.

  3. Step 3

    Officers execute on mobile

Guards sign in with photo and GPS, complete patrol or lock proofs, log visitors, report incidents, and sign out—with optional NFC verification.

  4. Step 4

    Supervise with live visibility

See in-progress shifts, on-shift-now lists, security events, and monthly hours from the admin dashboard—on mobile or web.

  5. Step 5

    Prove compliance & export evidence

Run SIA licence register checks and export shift, incident, visitor, and compliance PDFs when auditors or clients need proof.

Why security companies choose it

Less admin overhead

Structured workflows replace ad-hoc messages about who should be on which site—freeing supervisors for higher-value work.

Fewer disputes

Proof-backed attendance, patrol evidence, and exportable shift PDFs give both sides a shared record—shortening payroll and client queries.

Audit readiness

SIA checks, compliance slots, incident logs, visitor records, and shift history stay organised so you can answer auditors without a scramble.

Operational control

Real-time visibility across sites, shifts, and exceptions strengthens contract delivery while keeping control in your supervisors’ hands.

Common questions

Who is SecurityOps designed for?

UK security companies running manned guarding and site-based contracts—operations managers, supervisors, and admins who need dependable attendance evidence, patrol discipline, incident records, and SIA-aligned documentation.

How does on-site attendance verification work?

Attendance uses layered signals: a timestamped selfie, GPS checked against each site’s coordinates and radius, and device metadata. Optional NFC tag verification at sign-in adds another check. Guards without NFC hardware can request admin approval to start a shift.

Is incident reporting available today?

Yes. Guards submit structured incident reports during active shifts—including types, witnesses, emergency services, watermarked photos, and declarations. Supervisors and admins export PDF reports per reference number, linked to the shift timeline.

What is the visitor logbook?

A per-site feature officers use during active shifts to log visitors and vehicles, mark departures, and export a daily PDF report. Admins enable it per site and can download historical visitor reports from the admin console.

Can we prove SIA licence compliance digitally?

Yes, for SIA licences. Officers upload their licence front and back, and SecurityOps checks the number against the official public register, recording the status, sector and expiry date with each check. Supervisors get a per-officer compliance view and a consolidated PDF export. Wider vetting records — DBS, right to work and BS 7858 screening — are on the roadmap and are not stored today.

Which roles use the mobile app vs the web console?

Guards and company admins use the SecurityOps mobile app—guards for shifts and field work; admins for sites, users, shifts, compliance, NFC approvals, and notifications. Company admins also use the web console for broader reporting and configuration. Super Admin platform governance is web-only.
